Wakefield looking to fill Sept. 25 slot due to loss of game vs. Plainview. We are willing to travel and play on Saturday if need be. Contact A.D. Matt Brenn at Wakefield Community Schools.

Yutan will now play at South Sioux City in a unique matchup.

Also, per the NSAA website, Hartington-Newcastle will play a game at Woodbine (Iowa)

These eastern Nebraska vs western Iowa matchups intrigue me greatly

Boone Central vs Central City off, and Lexington vs Crete off.

Now Central City Vs Lexington is on. Man, ADs are earning their keep this fall. Keep up the good work!

Crete game vs. McCook from week 2 is listed as a Crete forfeit on NSAA, not a COVID cancel. What's up?

BRLD has covid but they only cancelled one game? How does that work?

Quarantine starts on Monday, wipes out Friday, and kids are back to practice the next Thursday before their game on Friday.

From what I understand, it depends on the coach/school and if they're willing to play after minimal practice.

A second positive, or later symptoms would make that tight squeeze not work though.

still doesnt make sense thats 12 days i hope for them it happens but still lots of inconsistency from one health district to another i mean why 12 not 14 why some 10 and not 14 and why are some 14 every time can anyone explain this

Sorry, I misunderstood. I was counting 10 days of quarantine, because that's what my local area is doing. Which if it starts at the right time, would cost just one game.

I cannot answer for the inconsistency of the health districts. I've also heard mention of health districts going clock hours vs. just days for quarantine, and that impacting schools as they might get caught with a half-day of quarantine on Friday. But I really don't have a good grasp on how that works.

It is unreal how with in one county away a team could get 14 days ad lose two games and another get 10. ITS A JOKE that health districts with in a state are not calibrating on some common ground, only showing how this is all so disorganized and a mess

that health department must only require a 9 day quarantine, interesting
A lot of quarantines now are 10 days it seems like, so if they found out Monday, don't forget the two day weekend.

Also, a lot of it is proximity and in my opinion the"likelihood" that a kid may go to a higher risk area. It makes sense objectively, but I agree it is a real pain in the you know what.

LJS reported the change to forfeit win for McCook but didn't explain. Any other games treated this way?
