Does anyone know how the six man playoffs work? How many teams?

This information was from an earlier post by Alum-Ni:

The playoffs are as follows: the top eight teams based on power points make the playoffs. The eight teams are split into two four-team brackets based on geography, east and west. Each bracket is seeded #1 through #4 based on power points. After the first round of the playoffs, the remaining four teams are re-seeded into one bracket and re-seeded #1 through #4 based on the new power point totals.
