Re: State Playoff Brackets with Start Times

Alum-Ni. You know the formula. Would you see North if they win at home against LSW on the road their next game against Norfolk / Kearney winner or on the road in the semis? Have a niece traveling home from Brooklyn to watch. We know how weird this thing can be. I'm thinking North at GISH without an upset. what do you think? But would NSAA put Vikes against GI at Memoriial 2 years in a row?

If North wins their opening game they would host the second round if Norfolk was the opponent. If Kearney was the opponent then the game would be in Kearney.

As far as the semifinals go, that all depends on who the opponent is and what their travel schedule was like. If the higher seeds win and it is Millard West vs. Grand Island in the quarters, the Omaha North would host the semi if Grand Island won, but would be the visitor if Millard West won.

The general rule is: if both teams hosted games in the previous round, the higher seed hosts. If both teams were on the road in the previous round, the higher seed hosts. If one team hosted and their opponent was on the road in the previous round, then the team that was on the road gets to host.
