At the George Anderson Invite today, the Fremont boys 4x800 relay team set a new state record with a time of 7:42.42.

It breaks the old record of 7:44.13 set by Lincoln North Star in 2005.

The mark apparently also leads the nation so far this year according to Athletic.net. The previous season-best in the nation was a 7:45.21 ran by The Woodlands (Texas)
