***WITH A WIN TONIGHT, GICC is a district champion. Ord, Boone Central, and GICC would be tied for the district title, but overall winning percentage is tiebreaker #1.

***WITH A GICC LOSS, Ord becomes the district champion, and pushes a team out of the top 16 I have listed here.

I agree with your Seeds 1-5, really consistent with what I have.

Where I think some things need to be looked at are:

Mitchell - Wheatland, WY must win there next 2 games in order to jump tiers and give Mitchell the additional 6 points. I don't think that happens. That being said, I have them at 369 and an 11 Seed.

Valentine - 6 Seed w/ win vs Kearney Catholic. Loss moves them to 12.

Kearney Catholic - 13 w/loss vs Valentine. Win moves them to 7.

Doniphan-Trumbull / Wood River - Essentially in the same spot, teetering the line between "win and in" or not.

Few games to consider the next two weeks that can shift a ton of things. Bold is my prediction for winner, purely off film study, not RPI.

Week 8
Hartington CC vs Oakland Craig
Aquinas vs Yutan ("Win and In" for Yutan, which would be the kicker for teams like Wood River / DT that would sneak in at a 15/16)
GICC vs Boone
Wheatland, WY (as mentioned above)

Week 9
DT vs Wood River - With a Yutan win, this becomes a "Win and In" as well.
Valentine vs Kearney Catholic
Norfolk Catholic
vs Hartington CC
Wheatland, WY (as mentioned above)

Looks like Wheatland got the job done yesterday. Their last game of the year is against a .500 team so they could get it done.

Based off few observations looks like these games could change seeding some

Wood River vs DT - Toss up Wood River wins
Bergan vs Arlington - Toss up -Arlington edge
WPB vs O-C Toss up - OC tough schedule
HCC vs NC - NC but close
Valentine vs KC - KC wins

Valentine vs KC - KC wins
Wood River vs DT. DT wins in a close one
Bergan vs Arlington- for toss up slight edge to Arlington
WPB vs OC. This is not a toss up game OC by 20 or more
HCC vs NFC Should be a great game
Valentine vs KC. KC by 2 or more scores

Curious on what insights you have that makes you think KC beats Valentine by 2+ scores? KC loan loss is at home to Mitchell 38-41 and Valentine beat Mitchell 45-26 at home. Add in a 3+ hour drive to Valentine.....just saying.

Here's what I get with a Kearney Catholic over Valentine win................no new teams enter, just a reshuffling of seeds for the 16 in the playoffs.
