Want to start building database of sports co-ops. NSAA has a current list, but I want to build a historical list.

What was first year they were allowed? 1993? Guide Rock/Red Cloud and Osceola/Stromsberg that year at state track were some of the first I've seen.

When did schools legislate to allow co-ops in sports?

What are some of the co-ops you remember that no longer exist?

I'm not sure of when co-ops started for sure, but I think Brule and Big Springs was one of the first to co-op things.

Eustis-Farnam had to be one of the first. I think 1987-88 was the first year and they were the Knights. Split the home games between the 2 towns and each did a Homecoming game, if I remember correctly!

Bruning and Davenport began playing football together and sharing staff in 1989 and fully unified in 2000-2001 added shickley for sports later.

I've put together a list of the current co-ops by going through the last year of NSAA board minutes. Tried to identify schools involved, the name the co-op plays under (used NSAA classification lists as the primary source for this), colors, and years active.

Take a look at see if I have any misrepresented or missing. (Looking like I'll have to go to NSAA office to work thru board minutes back to 1986 to get a complete list.)

Is CWC changes from the Renegades to Coyotes?
