I look at that baseball field and think about where my kids play and shake my head. I guess bare dirt in CF builds character.

I'm curious about what appears to be an open courtyard in the middle of the school. I would think snow removal would be a nightmare.

Actually, bare dirt in CF DOES build character. It builds a love for the game. It is a reminder of how humble beginnings can nurture great things.

Don't get me wrong, I love a really nice baseball or softball field. I also appreciate facilities that are not really nice and appreciate the fact that they exist.
