The NSAA Representative Assembly today passed using single-gender enrollment figures to classify all sports except for track and cross country. It passed by a vote of 49-2. Now sports like basketball, volleyball, golf, etc. (except track and cross country) will classify like football did this year and base enrollment figures strictly on a single gender.

The Assembly today also rejected, by a vote of 32-19, making bowling a sanctioned sport in the NSAA.

So does the board vote on this then and when would it go into effect?
