# 2 - Hastings St. Cecilia (9-0, 44.67)
#15 - Arcadia-Loup City (7-2, 41.22)

First Five Out:
Stanton (7-2, 41.22)
Crofton (6-3, 40.67)
Malcolm (5-4, 39.44)
Centennial (5-4, 39.11)
Hartington Cedar Catholic (5-4, 39.11)

Here's what I have for OBT:

Centennial (5-4) W 47
@ Malcolm (5-4) W 47
Elmwood-Murdock (6-3) W 47
@ Humboldt-Table Rock-Steinauer (5-4) W 47
@ Logan View (4-5) W 44
Aquinas Catholic (8-1) L 36
Archbishop Bergan (6-3) L 33
@ Tekamah-Herman (0-9) W 41
@ Yutan (8-1) L 36

47+47+47+47+44+36+33+41 = 378 / 9 = 42.00

There are lots of ways Stanton gets in. The most likely would be a Mitchell win over Chase County, which then lowers Bridgeports points and leaves them out. Stanton finishes at 41.22, Bridgeport finishes at 41.11 in that scenario.

The best scenario for Stanton to get in is Mitchell beat Chase County. If this happens they will also need West Holt to beat Crofton. Otherwise Crofton will get in ahead of them. Anybody have any thoughts of who will win that game? Looking at score comparisons, it should be a very good game in Crofton.

I think that game will be a dandy. Crofton had beaten West Holt 4 straight years before last year when West Holt finally broke through and beat them. I think I will take Crofton for 2 reasons....they are playing at home and they have to win to get in, so they really have more to play for. If West Holt loses they still get in.

So with the Crofton win that would bump out A-LC for now right? Is it set or does ALC or Stanton have a chance still?

I have A-LC as the #16 now with Stanton the first team out. A-LC wins the tie-breaker over Stanton on combined opponents' records.

ALC has a better chance than Stanton because ALC owns the tie breaker (opponent winning percentage). If Chase County loses to Mitchell tomorrow that bumps Bridgeport out and brings ALC back in. There are several other scenarios that would bring one or both of these teams back in.....but I think the Chase County-Mitchell game is probably ALC's best bet.
