Poor post on your part bullhusk. Wynot is the defending state D2 champion, and they return everyone from last year’s team.

This tourney was loaded. The two best teams in D2 (Wynot and St Francis), along with C2 power Crofton, and an undefeated York team from Class B.

Good basketball gets played in the lower classes. To somehow call York bad at the expense of a loss to Wynot is unfair to small-school basketball.

The best player in Nebraska girls basketball plays at a D2 school.

bullhead, your not very informed on girls basketball or maybe you don't get to read sports pages, all teams at that tourney are pretty talented.

Sorry fella's, I'm pretty aware of those D2 teams. My point was a class B school getting their butts kicked by a small class school. You don't see that very often, if ever, ESPECIALLY girls basketball. I don't even understand why York was in that tournament... So. Weird.

I believe this was the first year York didn’t have a holiday tournament, so they probably had a somewhat tough time finding a tournament. But if they would have won that would be a big one win.

I don’t think the loss will hurt them in February. I like seeing Class B teams play Class D2 teams if the talent is there.

I believe she committed to Nebraska last month. Good for her!

Crofton's best player was out with an injury in this tournament I believe. Hope she heals quickly.
