A couple of take aways from last nights games…Is anyone going to beat Norfolk Catholic this year? Back to back impressive wins to start the season.
That is a very solid win for Summerland. Could this be the year they make a deep run?

I was very impressed with Catholic last night. Both teams lost a lot to graduation from last year’s state title teams but NC looks like they’ve reloaded faster. NC reserves even put together a 70-yard TD drive to cap the scoring. With Neumann, Boone Central, Oakland-Craig, Battle Creek and Cedar Catholic on the schedule, the Knights will have been tested come playoff time.

Depth in C2 can be a huge impact and with the point margin of wins by Norfolk Catholic over the last two years gave these now seniors and juniors some important reps for this season.
