LOOKING FOR SCORES OF SIX MAN CHAMPIONSHIPS IN 2000 ANND 2002. HAVE ALL THE OLD NSAA SIX MAN CHAMPIONSHIP GAMES AND ALL BUT THESE TWO SIX MAN COACHES ASSOCIATION CHAMPIONSHIPS. I KNOW ARTHUR WON IN 2000 BUT THAT'S ALL AND NOTHING ON 2002.

I have contacted both Omaha and Lincoln newspapers but no replies. The NSAA replied they only have the official NSAA titles 1987-1998. The six man coaches association website doesn't list historical champions and have no contact information to ask them anything. hope someone out there can help me for these 2 years.

I used to have a file that I kept that had all of the old playoff brackets and scores. I seem to have lost that file, but will look for it.

Litchfield defeated Wheeler Central 71-38 to win the 2002 6-man state title.

Arthur played Tyron in the 2000 title game, but I have not yet to find a score.

Thanks for the 2002 info. I knew Arthur was champion in 200 but that was all I knew. Hope you can find the score. Don't know why the Six Man coaches association doesn't have this historical info listed on the website!

It'd be nice to have. Maybe the NSAA could put the info up since they are going to be sponsoring 6-man again starting next year. They didn't sponsor those games (roughly 1998-2016) but they are still member schools.

2002 is that a semifinal game? A link above has article on championship game which hey won 71-38 over Wheeler Central. In 2000 I've been told Arthur County beat Tryon for the title not McPherson County.

I misunderstood the post. I was thinking he was talking about the other classes scores being listed.

So everyone agree that the 2000 score is right and the 2002 is wrong. Everything I've seen say Litchfield won 71-38 over Wheeler Central in 2002 for the title.

Wonder why the 6 man coaches association does not have on the site. They did have brackets and results for several seasons for a few years but last I checked they had taken that info off.

Tell me about it. I searched when this thread started and did not find that link. Then all of a sudden it popped up when I searched again.
