Mayson Conner of York jumps 7' 2 1/4" today at the Holdrege Invitational, breaking the old Class B state record of 7' 2" set by Aaron Plas of McCook in 2002.

(The all-class state record is 7' 4" set by Randal Carter of Papillion-LaVista in 2007)
 
Back in April, Loomis senior Skylar Hadley set a new Class D state record in the 300 meter low hurdles with a time of 44.76, breaking the old record of 44.92 set by Catherine Mick of Bruning-Davenport/Shickley set in 2016.
 
Josie Puelz of Lincoln Lutheran set a new Class C state record in the girls pole vault at 12' 8", breaking her own record of 12' 4" she set several weeks ago. She vaulted 12' 8" at the Fremont Bergan Invitational. Prior to this season, the Class C record was 11' 8" set by Jaime Volkmer of Kearney Catholic in 1999.
