Also at the meeting the NSAA Board reviewed 42 proposals, 13 asking for changes in bylaws that made it through the November district legislative meetings.

Among the requests are to adopt the 35-second shot clock for varsity basketball games played at Class A schools, use instant-replay at the state basketball tournament to determine only whether a shot was a 2-pointer or 3-pointer and whether it was shot in time, add a third class in baseball, raise the enrollment limit in 8-man football from 47 boys to 55, add No. 3 doubles in state tennis and allow coaches to appeal their ejections.

I like almost all of the requests.

Among the requests are to adopt the 35-second shot clock for varsity basketball games played at Class A schools-FOR
Use instant-replay at the state basketball tournament to determine only whether a shot was a 2-pointer or 3-pointer and whether it was shot in time-FOR
Add a third class in baseball-NOT FOR
Raise the enrollment limit in 8-man football from 47 boys to 55-FOR
Add No. 3 doubles in state tennis and allow coaches to appeal their ejections-FOR

Track and Field is being decimated by soccer and baseball. There does not need to be Class C baseball. At this point their should be a request to have high school baseball in the summer. Get rid of Legion ball.

I saw the Class A One-Act state results. Any idea how Malcolm is in Class A?

I'm curious as to if they raise the 8 man enrollment to 50 plus, if they would move the 6 man from 27 up?
