This is my projection if the playoffs were to end today. They do not take into account how any future regular season games may go. This is just for fun and is just meant to be a snapshot of how the playoff race sits as of TODAY.

CLASS A
In Class A there are 28 teams, which are placed into four seven-team districts and everyone plays a 9-game regular season schedule. The top three teams in each district, based on win-loss record within the district, automatically qualify for the playoffs, that gives 12 automatic qualifiers. Of all the remaining teams, the four teams with the highest power point averages will receive wildcards and will complete the 16-team playoff bracket. The 16 teams will then be seeded into one bracket #1 thru #16 based on power points.

CLASS D1
In Class D1 there are 54 teams, which are placed into ten districts and everyone plays a 8-game regular season schedule. The ten district champions, based on district win-loss record, will automatically qualify for the playoffs. The next 22 teams with the highest power point averages will receive wildcards to fill out the 32-team playoff bracket. The 32 teams will then be seeded into two brackets, a west bracket and an east bracket, seeded #1 thru #16 in each bracket based on power points.

For this projection, if there is a tie for the district title, I will take the team with the highest point total as the "district champion", unless they have played head-to-head. I will calculate tie-breakers in the actual bracketing

Teams in bold italic are not eligible for the playoffs due to enrollment

District 1
Lourdes Central Catholic (3-2, 1-0), 40.2000

Mead gets the #15 seed over Pawnee City by virtue of having a Division 2 win

Bloomfield gets the nod over Nebraska City Lourdes for the #10 seed due to combined opponent's win percentage

Diller-Odell gets #8 seed over Scribner-Snyder because of opponents' combined win percentage

Elm Creek gets the #2 seed in the west over Fullerton because Elm Creek has a win over a Division 1 opponent

Based on opponents' combined win percentage, Elgin gets the nod for #11 seed over Sutherland and Axtel

Amherst and Hemingford are tied after all tie-breakers for the #5 seed, so I flipped a coin and Hemingford came out on top

Neligh gets #8 seed over North Central due to head-to-head win

CLASS D2
In Class D2 there are 54 teams, which are placed into ten districts and everyone plays a 8-game regular season schedule.

6-MAN
I'm not sure if the Six Man Coaches Association has changed their playoff format this year or not. If not, the playoffs are as follows: the top eight teams based on power points make the playoffs. The eight teams are split into two four-team brackets based on geography, east and west. Each bracket is seeded #1 through #4 based on power points. After the first round of the playoffs, the remaining four teams are re-seeded into one bracket and re-seeded #1 through #4 based on the new power point totals.

I will base my projections off the previous format unless I find out it has changed.
