Elkhorn Valley is forfeiting their game against Lutheran High Northeast this week due to lack of available players. The Falcons had just 12 players in last week's game against Laurel-Concord-Coleridge and, two were injured during that contest, leaving EV with 10.

Hemingford has forfeited due to numbers, and Gibbon has forfeited due to Covid protocols.

Wakefield's Logan Bokemper sets three state records in the 82-62 win over Plainview:

- He scored all 11 of the Trojans' touchdowns (10 rushing, one kick return) and also tacked on four 2-pt conversion runs for a total of 74 points scored. The old 8-man record had been 10 total touchdowns set by Josh Frerichs of Lodgepole in 2002 and Matt Neiman of Brady in 2016

- His 10 rushing touchdowns broke the old record of nine (set by four players)

- His 74 total points scored breaks the record of 72 points set last week by Palmer quarterback Gunner Reimers who had nine touchdowns and nine 2-pt conversions.

(The 11-man record is 85 points by John Cook of Beatrice in 1912)

Coach Cook looks pretty good for his age.
