Is C2-3 at HC because of capacity issues? Those schools are about as close to each other as you can get.

Agreed. I have no clue how big DT's gym is, but I would have just given a ticket allowance to HSC. Crazier is playing in Hastings to boot. I would have done GINW or GISH instead if they were open
You are only talking about 12 miles. And HC has great, great facilities.

They do have nice facilities, but to give up a home court environment (which I’m assuming is what they did) is pretty bold.

I’d be all for places like Hastings College, Midland etc to host district finals if all classes did it and logistically it could work. It would be awesome to have double headers at sites like that. Otherwise the high seed should host.

I've heard DT is quite small, probably the right move according to folks I've talked to that are familiar with it.

I wouldn't say "quite small". Starting to show it's age, it was pretty massive for C2 when built. :) Should have sold capacity, then SRO in the old gym and have it streamed.

I have never been there, just relaying what other folks from the area said.

I'm suprised as well, but don't mind it.

Not tiny, IMO. But HC will be a great atmosphere too!

Only one that I have different is Elm Creek over McCool Junction, but anything can happen at this point.
D1 is always difficult to predict, its the most spread out class in the state and some D1 school due to location just dont play much competition and when all these different parts come together you can bet a few games wont go as planned if you are just looking at records I think a couple games that maybe a lot closer than some think would be The Sandy Creek and JB game and the McCool and Elm Creek game

I think there's something to be said for playing a home game for a district final, different atmosphere, more on the line, definitely a plus for the home teams!

Agreed. Elm Creek has played a much tougher schedule.

McCool had beat two teams over .500.
Elm Creek has beat seven

One of these four games will more than likely have an upset, and I would not call 9 vs 8 or 7 vs 10 and upset and I also do not think it will occur at all in the 1 and 2 seed games
