Dundy has athletes but can be undisciplined. Elm Creek is solid and physical. I think both make it to state.

Agreed. I have no clue how big DT's gym is, but I would have just given a ticket allowance to HSC. Crazier is playing in Hastings to boot. I would have done GINW or GISH instead if they were open

You are only talking about 12 miles. And HC has great, great facilities.

They do have nice facilities, but to give up a home court environment (which I’m assuming is what they did) is pretty bold.

I’d be all for places like Hastings College, Midland etc to host district finals if all classes did it and logistically it could work. It would be awesome to have double headers at sites like that. Otherwise the high seed should host.

I wouldn't say "quite small". Starting to show it's age, it was pretty massive for C2 when built. Should have sold capacity, then SRO in the old gym and have it streamed.

I think there's something to be said for playing a home game for a district final, different atmosphere, more on the line, definitely a plus for the home teams!
