It looks to me like the only way St Paul gets to 41 points if if Hastings losses to Gibbon and Arcadia beats Fillmore and you have Hastings winning so that should keep St Paul at 40.67

St Paul will have 36 point losses to Valentine, Central City, and Centennial.

They will have 41 point wins against Wood River, Gibbon, Twin River
They will have 44 point win against Arcadia-Loup City
They will have 47 point wins against Cross County and Centura

That is a total of 369/9=41
A Gibbon win would make their total 372/9=41.333

Yea and don't be fooled. A/LC is by far the best 2 win team in the state. Fillmore Central is a little bit of a mirage with who they were able to start with and get to 3-0

Fillmore Central beat the bottom 3 teams in C2, no chance they win tonight, One game that could throw the bracket upside down again is if Bergan can beat Oakland Craig, They would have low points, but would be district champ.

There are a few games tonight that could rock the boat quite a bit. Arcadia-Loup City will roll Fillmore. That is to be expected. I think a few others that could be potential upsets are Sutton over Centennial, Gibbon over St Cecilia, and LHNE over Crofton. I don't see anyway Bergan beats Oakland-Craig, but that would really tip the bracket. Same with St Paul over Central City....I don't see it happening, but it would cause a huge ripple effect.

I agree, Centennial could very well be upset, St. Cecilia probably not motivated and Gibbon is playing better, I think Crofton is going to be a little too physical for LHNE, but in Norfolk could go either way if LHNE is healthy. I have not seen St. paul, but hard to imagine Central City will lose that one, from what I hear Oakland Craig has some injuries that they are dealing with and Bergan beating a solid BRLD by two scores last week is a solid win and by a larger margin that Oakland Craig.

You make valid points. The whole injury/health thing is so important. Sutton has battled injuries all year. Word I heard was that they might have some kids back next week. Gibbon was hurt early and is healthy now, failed on a 2 point attempt last week to beat Doniphan. If Oakland-Craig is injured they could be in trouble.

Tonight is always wild. It never fails, every year there is an upset in each class that tilts the bracket big time. There will undoubtedly be one tonight in C2 with as many games as we have pointed out.

This is why the 16 team playoff is great. So many great games tonight that'll make or break the C2 field. It's awesome seeing the last week of the season matter.

Here is another game that is flying under the radar..... Yutan hosting Lincoln Lutheran. Yutan is the heavy pick among people close to C-2, but you have to imagine that Lincoln Lutheran will put up a fight.

Lincoln Lutheran wins and they are in, lose they are out, same with Yutan. Lincoln Lutheran has stepped up one time and got destroyed by Lutheran High, Looking at Yutan's strength of schedule and scores they should win easy.

I agree. On paper Yutan wins easy. This final week seems to suggest Lutheran might have a different idea. Crazy stuff happens on the last night of regular season.
