I agree with your agreement of enjoying this format. Considering I'm the guy who started the thread on distances, I couldn't help but notice Bennington playing at Alliance. Just shy of 400 miles and right at a 6.5 hour drive. It's actually closer for Bennington to drive to Minneapolis than it is for them to drive to Alliance. You can sometimes forget how big of a state Nebraska is.

Also right at 400 miles from Sidney to Omaha and nearly 450 from Gering to Omaha. Crazy road trips in B.
 
Wouldn't it make sense to have those sub-state matches in locations that are in the middle? It seems like classes C and D do that. I don't think a final is at the home court of a team that is playing.

Class B voted in their process where the top eight teams in power point standings earn the right to host the bottom eight teams.

Class C decided to keep a neutral-site format.
