I'd like to hear everyone's comments on the D-1 Championship game.

Nobody is complaining about anything. He asked a question and people answered. Anyone who watched the game knows that top to bottom Burwell was better. BDS had the best player on the field (probably the best two) and Burwell didn't have an answer for him (them).

Congrats to Burwell on a great season, but let it go man, your own statement doesnt make any sense "Top to bottom burwell had the best team except the didn't have the best two players", then they didnt have the best team top tio bottom. They got beat by two touchdowns, they got out gained in total yards and they lost to the best team in D-1 this year Congrats on the State Runner up but BDS was better and won the State Champioship

As a past varsity basketball coach and football coach I just saw basketball players out there for Burwell. My goodness 6'4, 6'4, 6'3, 6'3.... The head basketball coach has to be drooling!!!

Not sure what outcome would've been had Tegtmeier not gotten cramps. But him being unable to play hurt BDS defensively more than most people thought. Burwell could've proved they were better team but they couldn't stop BDS on that last drive. Not sure what it means when a team runs the ball 8 consecutive times for game clinching td and the defense has pretty good idea the other team is going to run the ball but all Burwell had to do was do that for chance to win game.

Believe the coach will be a first year kid right out of college if I remember correctly.

Boys B-Ball coach is Adam Stolzer. WSC grad, helped out as a college kid with both Wayne & then Laurel girls teams. Great kid & IMO a really good b ball mind.
I know he's excited & he'll work his butt off to put a good product on the court.

He is still in Burwell. I think he might help with the girls program. He has a daughter in high school.

Burwell has a great coach and a great football program. One thing I noticed about BDS is they may the most physical team in D-1. Top to bottom. Half their team is worthy of All-State status. Then again, ditto for the Longhorns.
