Will this game be close? I haven't seen Either team play, but I see Bob has labeled it an "interesting match-up". Thoughts?

The Coach at Hartington-Newcastle has done a good job creating a winning atmosphere over the last couple of years. They won their first ever playoff game a couple of years ago. They lost to long time foe Bloomfield earlier this year in 3 Over-times that they should have won from what I heard so I think they are a couple of years away from being able to compete with a team like Creighton. That being said I will be pulling for them, though I will not be at the game because I would enjoy seeing a shakeup with the powers that be within D-1.

I see creighton getting up early and going in to coast mode. Any radio coverage of this game?

Since 2009, Creighton has lost at home only twice. They will not lose this week, their coaching staff knows how to win and keep winning. I love seeing Hartington-Newcastle doing well, they deserve it, I just hope they keep it respectable.

I would like them to keep it respectable as well. Just not sure if they have the horses to do so. I guess we will have to see.

Having watched Creighton play twice this season and a bunch last year, I do not think this game is even close. 20-30 point game at half. Then Creighton will probably rest their players for the postseason.

It probably won't be, Hartington-Newcastle just needs to get ready for the playoffs. If it gets ugly in the first half, both teams should really just play JV the second half, give the starters some rest for next week.

I agree. I have heard that Hartington-Newcastle has 3 starters out due to injury. Not sure if this is true, just what I heard.
