Can you keep Payton Nelson off first team all state. ? What ? 4 TD passes in 7 tosses ? Not too bad against the third # 2 team in Class A in 5 weeks. Central at CHS next week. They will move up to #3. Westside positioned to be in top 5 when North plays them at WHS. Has there ever been a team that just rolls like this. Tonight against Prep in front of 6500 was just a cake walk .

North could have 5 all state players and should have 6 if this keeps up.

Lewis is the best receiver in A. Sorry CJ. Lineman ? Running backs ? How about The Martins on defense?

The only team comes to mind for rolling like this year's North squad in Class A to me , was the 1982 Omaha Westside undefeated State Champion that had 5-6 All State players including Jeff Taylor at QB. How about this for a 3 game play off run:

1st round: Kearney 35-0
2nd round Prep 35-0
3rd round Northeast 34-0

They had actually won it the year before in 81, but not as impressive as the 82 season.
Hats off to the job that Larry Martin has done there, he has built a great program that is for sure. Just ask Prep !
