Were those other two candidates?I have some sources who say Tri County Northeast recently named a head coach for their co-op. Sounds like they passed over Joe Kvidera (E-H head coach, won a state title at Ponca) and Dave Uldrich (Allen head coach, pretty good run of success the last 20 years). Instead, they opted to name Evan Colfack, the JH football coach in Allen as the new head coach.
Seems like an odd hire to say the least.
Not surprising. RC had openings for an AD, FB HC, VB HC and XC HC at one point on the NDE website.According to the preview Huskerland Bob posted on this site recently, Tony Kobza is the head coach at Raymond Central
I hope he's a better football coach than he was girl's basketball.I have some sources who say Tri County Northeast recently named a head coach for their co-op. Anybody know...Ford is a local name from up there. Assistant coach? Also, is Baasch an Amherst grad? Name seems familiar from there a while back in wrestling.Trent Ford is the new coach at Cody-Kilgore
Holden Wetzler and Trace Baasch will be co-head coaches at Creighton
Trent Ford is a graduate from Cody and has been an assistant there for years. Baasch is an Amherst grad and a good wrestler from what I hear.Anybody know...Ford is a local name from up there. Assistant coach? Also, is Baasch an Amherst grad? Name seems familiar from there a while back in wrestling.
From what I understand, both principals, the AD, and every single varsity coach (minus wrestling) resigned from RCNot surprising. RC had openings for an AD, FB HC, VB HC and XC HC at one point on the NDE website.
That sounds interesting. whats that storyFrom what I understand, both principals, the AD, and every single varsity coach (minus wrestling) resigned from RC
Location hurts RC IMO. With Wahoo, Neumann, Waverly, Malcolm all within 20 miles, families have other options to send their students. Teachers also have other options. From what I understand, both principals, the AD, and every single varsity coach (minus wrestling) resigned from RC
I think being in the Lancaster County health district had quite a bit to do with it. The mandates were not looked upon favorably. That sounds interesting. whats that story

Yes, according to Bob he will be an assistant at Garden CountyDid Kupper leave Creek Valley?
That is a big reason why I think you could see a lot of student movement to other schools. Parents who put a focus on their child's education don't want their children in an environment that is a mad house. This isn't about coaching as much as it is about being fed up with teaching. It's a mad house. Kids out of control, parents out of control, no support from admins, or law enforcement. Teachers right now are powerless in regards to student behavior.
Hopefully for his sake he'll have two very good coordinators to work with. Did Colfack assistant coach in the past for Allen? I don't think he did.Tri County Northeast is not open.
As I said before, Evan Colfack is the coach. Never coached a high school game…..chosen over two veterans who both would have loved to have been head coach (Joe Kviedra and Dave Uldrich).
Sounds like your close to one or both of those communities. Any communication taking place for full consolidation? With both having hrinking enrollments with Allen being down to about nothing and now sharing a Superintendent, are they discussing it?No. He was the junior high coach.
Of all the coaches who were working at Allen and E-H last year with two varsity programs, only one assistant from Allen is helping next year.
Almost all new faces. Tells you all you need to know about how the decision went over in both communities.
I know nothing of the situation, but Uldrich has to be near (or past) retirement age, so perhaps in looking for a long term coach, he was passed over.Tri County Northeast is not open.

Allen and Wakefield make too much sense for a consolidation. Too bad it couldn’t get done. Waste of resources to have all three schools operating, just my opinion though. Dixon County High. The 14 kids from Hubbard can go to Homer.Sounds like your close to one or both of those communities. Any communication taking place for full consolidation? Anybody know where Jones from Thayer Central is going? I know they moved to 8 man this year but they seemed to be having some success the last few years.Thayer Central is now open...
