Coach Lenners was coaching at Chase County when I was in Jr. High. That was 37 years ago. I remember him being the Jr. High basketball coach of the Shorthorns when I was in the 7th grade. If I remember right he was also the head boys basketball coach at Chase County during the 80's as well.

As to Anselmo-Merna being on your list as far as I know Matt McGinn is still the coach there. Carlie Wells was the principal at A-M, not the coach, so his leaving didn't affect that job.
