Wait & see if EPIC option passes. If there's no propery tax $ going to local schools & it's all going to Lincoln, there will be lots of consolidations. I sense there's a lot of "anti big government" people who will vote for it, even though they're voting for getting rid of local control.

Nebraska needs another stretch of consolidations like in the 60’s. So much money being spent on districts with declining enrollments that can’t hire teacher, old out dated facilities and a town in the same situation 10 miles down the road.

Rural Nebraska isn’t what it was in 1985 or 1995.
