Having watched Thayer Central as an outsider I think there is a) a cultural issue in the school which is probably why they have had so many openings this year and b) I watched them once in person and wow, they have multiple parents who “coach” from the stands.

Being from Compton you'd be a great judge of culture.
You could include 90% of the schools in this state that have a parent/Coach problem in the stands problem in this state and every state . Goes with the territory anymore , but yes some places are worse then others
I agree with the Culture comment... This next year they will have a New Superintendent, New HS Principal, New AD, and multiple New Coaches, FB, BBB, Track, etc... Maybe this is the change that is needed.
That will never happen... Would make sense to merge, but they won't even talk.
maybe 20 years from now, but currently both school have over 25 kids a class in elementary
Not sure if posted yet...But Coach Woodard is leaving Bell West, riding off into the sunset. I believe that they have an asst coach on staff ready to take over for him.
Also Gretna East (new high school next year) has been filled by Cooper Anthony, a Gretna HS asst coach.

Disgruntled parents and poor administration are a bad combo.
coaching updates have been made on the list above -- can anyone else fill in some holes or add more openings?
I can think of a couple parochial schools that have that issue. They think they should be good, but the talent is not there, so the parents throw their weight around and run coaches out

I'm guessing not a whole lot of people lining up and applying for that job.
Playing experience, enthusiasm, dedication, willing to say yes & a Teaching degree.
This. Being a younger coach, he can relate to the players a little bit too. Lex doesn't have much to lose with this hire IMO.
