Even more "amazing" that Ponca isn't in that C2-4 sub. Instead they have to travel further to the west. Wonder how that happens?!

Most likely they started in the southeast corner this year when drawing the circles on the map to make up sub-districts.

Some absolute brutal sub-districts out there. #1 and #2 in WC points in D1 in the same sub seems wrong. C1 has 3 loaded subs. Maybe someday they'll treat basketball more like football and travel a bit for subs.

It just seems that travel would be less for Ponca in the C4 sub. And the fact that a coach in the C4 sub & the head of basketball for NSAA are brothers just doesn't sit right with me. Maybe much ado about nothing, carry on!
I think that is a reach. The C2-4 sub is pretty geographically balanced. Ponca is closer to Laurel and Hartington vs Pender. Ponca usually always goes west. Even in the regular season, the furthest southern team they play is BR.

40 miles from Ponca to Pender and 45 miles from Ponca to Crofton. Plus Ponca is normally in the C2-5 sub.

If anything, I think Perkins County is in the wrong district out west. A 4-teamer could have been made without them. Perkins County could have slid east, and South Loup could have been pushed east a district.

Other than that, I don't see much out of line here.

I think C1 could be formatted a little better. I still would love to see subs seeded the last Monday in January and use points and geography.

This may be the DUMBEST comment ever! Don’t you think the NSAA guy would have made the sub-districts easier for his daughter if he was trying to “doctor” the system?!

Thanks for the kind reply. Guess I didn't realize he had a daughter playing. No clue what sub that is though.
But I will now worship all comments you make since you know all!
