Wanted to know peoples opinions about D-2 this year. I feel it is wide open. CWC just beat HSF in what had to be a physical game. Anselma Merna is rolling. Exeter, Stuart and L-N are undefeated. FCSH and Giltner both have one loss but to very good D-1 teams. There are some teams further West that I are winning big. Some teams that I am waiting to see them take the next step i.e Randolph plays CWC this week. Wynot played HSF tough and have a good Emerson team to play. Osmond and Osceola are both 3 and 0 and look strong but will be challenge in the final 5 weeks of the regular season. We will see how good they are.
My rankings
1. CWC
2. Exeter Milligan
3. Anselma Merna
4. FCSH
5. HSF
6. Lawrence Nelson
7. Brady
8.Stuart
9. Osmond
10. Osceola
Other teams possible top ten sandhills Thedford, Crawford, Wynot, Southwest, Garden County

I think A-M is the best in the west. I watched them last year and they brought back a lot of talent.

Another good team is Sandhills/Thedford, they have the best 8 man QB in the state in Jacey Nutter.

CWC is a strong group, but can they do damage in the playoffs? They haven't the past few years. HSF will rebound they always do.

Exeter-Milligan and FCSH always are good so we will see them tested in the quarterfinals.

I think Anselmo-Merna has the best shot at it, especially if they beat Sandhills-Thedford in two weeks.

I went to Stuart/ Sandhills-Thedford game...Sandhills had a starter out with a concussion...if he played sandhills wins by 3 touchdowns

Warning: Don't sleep on Stuart. Top 3 team, IMO.
Despite the W on Saturday, I still say Stuart is waiting to be exposed. I would favor most of the top ten against them. It's going to be an interesting race in that district with them, CWC, and Osmond being undefeated and Randolph and St Mary's not far behind.

Sandhills/Thedford has the most excuses of any team known to man. Thank you Eagle for your comments, but I think that is a ridiculous statement. You saw the heart Stuart plays with and S/T just doesn't have that.

Schmaderer, Stuart with heart, yeah i can see that, but if you really want to hear an excuse...how about when the refs blew a call on a screen play by stuart...all lineman were down field 15 yards when he threw it to a wr 20 yards down field...they missed it, i didnt bring that up, thats an excuse...just stating the obvious but thanks for your input

Stuart is living on the edge. They could easily be 0-3. Let's see how they handle the remainder of the schedule after next week. @ CWC, Osmond and @ Randolph will be tough.

I'll be interested to see if Stuart gets pushed east again in the playoffs. I doubt it, but that was pretty crazy last year.
