Id like to know how you think all of BDS, H-D, Franklin, Central Valley all get to D1. All have 37 not going to take that many up. maybe 2, 3 at the most
now if one more decides to drop new to 8-man and I am not sure on one co-ops numbers this will make the cut off at 37 and then 1 or 2 of the 37 will drop and that could very easily happen for sure and if one or two decide to go up from 6-man this will also bump the number in D2 and make the cutoff 38 so it will be very close for about 4 schools if they will be D1 or D2 But at this piont someone could figure districts if the wanted to starting in the furthest west

Is 8 man different? I just had a talk with a coach that mentioned in C, they only take playoff eligible teams into account for chopping C into C1 and C2. The ineligible teams are then placed in C1, giving C1 more schools than C2.
That is correct. Even split D1 to D2 if it is not even the odd number is D2. Then place ineligibles in D1.
Sorry to keep asking the same question, but... Where are you getting your numbers from?
I have the number for the split higher than that. More than likely the split will be around 37 or 38. Would need more teams to be added to 8 man to get that low. Dont know the tie breaker but a team or team with 37 could be thrown into D1. I'm unaware what some teams will do, play 6 or come up to 8, I can only guess. If teams stay 6 that pushes the cut line higher up to 38.
I have heard of 2-3 schools that are talking about coming up to 8 man possibly but have not declared what they are doing yet also
Anyone hear anything about Maxwell dropping to 6 man? Hard to believe with the number of transfers they generally get out of NP.
Can you include a link??? I can't find it anywhere except on the NSAA website, but that is from the fall of 2022 enrollment numbers.

I just checked, it has changed since 11/15/23. I did not have that in my cutoff. Possibly just one school with 37 will be D1 now. Wilcox-Hildreth officially is up to 8 man.
According to updated declarations on 11.22 which were not updated until today, Maxwell is declared as 6 man.

Some people love to be last! I'm guessing Gross is deciding if they'll opt to B or stay C1. Others...no clue...just hoping to be last.

I have Sandhills Valley, Howells/Dodge, and Cambridge as the 3 with 37 enrollment based on 3 year enrollment average
