Rob Sweetland of Wayne

Softball coach Rob Sweetland of Wayne won his 600th game today. Only coach in the program's history. Quite impressive!
Where does that rank in state history, would assume rather high?

Is there anywhere that collects coaching records in Nebraska H.S. sports?

He already had the most wins in state history.
I think Mark Watt of LSW was the leader when he retired a couple years ago, but didn't have 600.

How long has he been the Varsity HC at Wayne? Does he have wins from another school as well?

Entire career was at Wayne......started in 2001 I believe.
I believe they started softball in 2003. But yes, entire career has been in Wayne - don't see that very often. What is even more impressive is that he will get his 200th career basketball win this winter as well.

Just read an article in the Norfolk Daily News that says he started in 2001. Now has a record of 600-142 (well.....601-143 after today's subdistricts). He has four state titles, three runner-up finishes and 18 trips to the state tournament in 24 seasons.
