The NSAA Board of Directors met February 18, 2015 at the Association Office in Lincoln, Nebraska with the following members present:

District I - Mark Norvell, Fillmore Central
District I - Wendy Henrichs, Lincoln East
District II - Dr. Bob Reznicek, Boys Town
District II - Nolan Beyer, Millard Public Schools
District III - Jay Bellar, Battle Creek
District IV - Dr. Brian Maher, Kearney
District V - Alan Garey, Medicine Valley
District VI - Troy Unzicker, Alliance

Also in attendance were Rick Moses, Department of Education liaison; Julia Plucker, NSAA Lobbyist; Kelly Classen, NHSOA; and Chris Rainforth, Activities Director, Archbishop Bergan High School.

The meeting was called to order at 9:50 a.m.

1. Moved to approve the Consent Agenda. Items in the Consent Agenda included the approval of the following: the meeting agenda as amended; minutes from the January 15, 2015 regular meeting; minutes of the February 3, 2015 Class Caucus Review Committee meeting; Financial Report; and cooperative sponsorship renewals for Norfolk and Norfolk Catholic High Schools for boys tennis. Motion Carried: 8-0

2. Moved to approve the NSAA to enter into the "Common Interest and Information Sharing Agreement" regarding potential threatened litigation relating to concussion type injuries to current and former participants in high school activities against high school activity associations across the United States. Motion Carried: 8-0

3. Moved to allow the host schools for District Soccer competitions to determine game times. Motion Carried: 8-0

4. Archbishop Bergan High School appeared before the board to correct the enrollment number submitted to the Nebraska Department of Education for 2015-16 NSAA classifications. It was moved to approve the request to correct the enrollment number previously submitted by Archbishop Bergan from 87 to 74 and to fine the school $250.00. Motion Carried: 8-0

There being no further business, the meeting adjourned at 1:30 p.m.

The next Board of Directors meeting will be held in Lincoln at the Downtown Holiday Inn on March 11, 2015.
