It appears that Carter Nelson only competed in two events. Is there a reason for that? He is talented enough he could have qualified in at least 3 other events.
I noticed that as well, but after looking closer, he no-heighted in the pole vault (along with Norfolk Catholic’s best vaulter) and only threw 122 in the discus—65 feet off his best.

Unofficially, Jacie Rexilius of Lincoln Christian appears to have broken a pair of Class B state records, just waiting to see if they were wind legal.

She ran a time of 11.92 in the 100 meters....if that holds, it would break the old record of 11.94 set by Katy Jay of Mitchell in 1999.

She then clocked a 24.21 in the 200 meters, which would break the record of 24.54 set last year by Kennedy Wade of Bennington.
