Definitely for real. TJ O'Connor is already listed as Wahoo's boys coach on the NSAA directory.

I don't think he wanted the head job. He did a great job filling in on unexpected circumstances.

But I think he wants to slide back and be an assistant.

Nebraska City boys is open

The first state record of 2025 is set. Braden Lofquest of Gretna East, at the Bellevue East Invite, runs the 1,600 in 4:06.80, breaking the Class B and All-Class state records in the event. It breaks the All-Class record of 4:08.61 set by Juan Gonzalez of Fremont last year and the Class B record of 4:12.11 set by Lofquest also in 2024.

Looks like Crofton has Hired John Ostemier who was an assistant on staff and current principle.

I remember him being a very good QB for Valentine, and then Grand Island Central Catholic.

Caleb Kluender, former head coach at Wausa and most recently an assistant at Omaha Concordia will be the new head coach at Lakeview.
