I'm curious if things would change much if Bloomfield were to beat Hartington-Newcastle?
District assignments should be made long before the season starts. Districts are the ONLY games that matter in basketball prior to the state tournament. If I have Wahoo in my district I want to know so I can prepare for the 1-3-1 starting in the summer time.Schools also have until October 1st to put in for coops, and the board meeting has to take place as mentioned above is my guess.
What's the rush? Everyone's schedules are already set. Districts are in February. Practice is a month away.
I do totally understand why people want to know. I just find it interesting that some get bent out of shape waiting for it to be released, just like they do for district assignments...even though their schedule won't change after they're released.
If Howells beats Arch Angels, they end up with 44.375 and would be the #1 overall seed unless A-M beats Palmer and May Hay beats Bertrand then the winner of Loomis and Overton would be the #1 overall seed. Arch Angels would have 43.375 and be #5 overall and #3 in the East if they lost to H-D.... I thinkIt will all be settled this week but man what a log jam from A&M to Palmer......5 teams for 2 maybe 3 spots.
Also, what happens if Howells beats Archangel?
You are correct, I forgot Fullerton. That will change a few things around.I think you are missing fullerton, unless they are ineligible?
Kinda a tough bracket to predict with many 8 week games that could go either way.
Yes, I agree. Huge point swings too. I was just thinking man there are some bold predictions on toss up games here.I think you are missing fullerton, unless they are ineligible?

I think you are missing fullerton, unless they are ineligible?Just what I thought might happen, probably have some numbers wrong for points and for some tiebreakers

Oh boy, I think you're right about the A&M vs Palmer game.......that is a big game for the bracket depending on which side CV goes. However, I think Cambridge bounces back and their defense and quietly good freshman quarterback go to Hitchcock and pull out a win.Just what I thought might happen, probably have some numbers wrong for points and for some tiebreakers

I would go Thayer by a couple TDsCurious who you had in the Thayer Central-EMF game(?) I am guessing EMF on that one.
Schools also have until October 1st to put in for coops, and the board meeting has to take place as mentioned above is my guess.Does the state still certify school enrollment numbers on last Friday in September? Could that be some of the reason?
