The NSAA Board of Directors met on November 6, 2024 at the NSAA Office in Lincoln with members present as follows:

The meeting was called to order at 8:00 a.m.
1. Motion to approve the Consent Agenda. Items on the Consent Agenda included:
- Approval of the meeting Agenda as presented
- Approval of the Minutes of the October 8, 2024 Class Caucus Review Committee Meeting
- Approval of the Minutes of the October 10, 2024 Board of Directors Meeting
- Approval of the Minutes of the October 16, 2024 Committee on Classification Meeting
- Approval of the Financial Statements
- Approval off the following new cooperative sponsorship for the 2024-25 and 2025-26 school years:
- Ralston, Omaha Gross and Cornerstone Christian for Girls Swimming
- Approval of the following cooperative sponsorship renewals for the 2024-25 and 2025-26 school years:
- Louisville and Weeping Water for Baseball
- Approval of the following cooperative sponsorship renewals for the 2025-26 and 2026-27 school years
- Eustis-Farnam and Elwood for Volleyball, Boys Cross Country, Girls Cross Country, Boys Wrestling, Girls Wrestling, Boys Basketball, Girls Basketball, Boys Track, Girls Track and Boys Golf
- Approval of the dissolution of the following cooperative sponsorships for the 2024-25 school year:
- Nebraska City, Johnson-Brock and Nebraska City Lourdes for Baseball

2. Moved to approve a request from Elkhorn for a one-year waiver of Approved Ruling 3.11.1-3-3.11.13 for Elkhorn High School's Diving Coach.

3. Krystal Siebrandt from HBE presented the audit.
4. The Board heard an appeal from Crete High School on a denied hardship waiver.
5. The Board entered closed session at 8:51 a.m. to hear an appeal from Crete High School.
6. The Board exited closed session at 9:11 a.m.
7. The Board heard an appeal from Seward High School on a denied hardship waiver.
8. The Board entered closed session at 9:14 a.m. to hear an appeal from Seward High School.
9. The Board exited closed session at 9:23 a.m.
10. The NSAA Board of Directors heard presentations from Papillion/Sarpy County, Lincoln and Hastings representatives for the NSAA Softball Championships.
11. Moved to approve removing the language regarding the NSAA Approved Ruling 1.6.1 District 1 and District 2 Board of Director Representation.

12. Moved to approve the request of Omaha Roncalli High School to opt-up in Boys Basketball for the 2024-25 school year.
Motion Carried: 8-0
13. NSAA Staff reports included the following informational items:
- The Student Advisory Committee will present at the Sportsmanship and Leadership Summits across the state November 19th through November 22nd.
- The NSAA Baseball Championship contract has been extended with the University of Nebraska-Omaha, Omaha Storm Chasers and Sarpy County Tourism through 2028.
- The NSAA entered a new contract with Track Wrestling, decreasing the cost per school to $100 for boys wrestling and $25 for girls wrestling to utilize Track Wrestling
14. Moved to entere executive session at 11:44 a.m. to discuss the appeals from Crete and Seward High Schools.
Motion Carried: 8-0
15. Moved to exit executive session at 12:01 p.m.
Motion Carried: 8-0
16. In the matter of the Crete hearing, it was moved to uphold the Executive Director's denied hardship waiver.
Motion Carried: 8-0
17. In the matter of the Seward hearing, it was moved that the eligibility of the Seward student shall be based on the domicile of the father.
Motion Carried: 8-0
