Head Coaching Changes for 2017-18

So, Prep will probably have an announcement here shortly too. Sounds like a good hire for Omaha Concordia.

I have heard Tim Johnk, Jay Ball, and TJ Fyfe all got interviews. Not sure on who else.

Jay Ball I believe interviewed this week and Tim Johnk is supposed to interview this week as well. There are also three internal candidates that have put in.

Do you know if Kerwin was one of the internal candidates? You would think that his past experience would grant an interview.

Silas will bring a offense to SSC. unlike the last coach who made it more of a rugby style scrum offense.

I am not sure it will matter as long as they are in Class A they will win 0 to 4 games a year with once every 12 to 15 years a season with 7 wins Its a coaching graveyard

South Sioux is a tough football job. They need to be Class B full time.

C2 Wakefield in 2007-2008 would have beat those South Sioux Class B teams imo.

They get drained of athletes by Bishop Heelan on the Iowa side. The two schools are less than 12 miles apart
Oh for sure. If I were a kid and wanted to play on winning teams I'd go to Heelan or somewhere nearby as well. It's different when the school is trying to do their best to start clubs or weight programs, etc. But it just doesn't seem like South Sioux has ever cared about football.
