The HAC will be an 11 team league until the new LPS opens in a few years.

Lincoln High
Lincoln Northeast
Lincoln Southeast
Lincoln East
Lincoln Southwest
Lincoln North Star
Lincoln Pius*
Fremont
Grand Island
Kearney*
Norfolk*

If I were Norfolk and Kearney I would be jumping for joy. Pretty much comparable to leaving the Big 12 for the Big Ten. More stability, regional rivalries, more stability, and a better conference than the GNAC.

Columbus is the team in limbo now...I think they need to look hard at the Central 10.

Also wonder what North Platte does moving forward. They are basically on an island now. Assume the GNAC dissolves soon.

The conference just doesn't seem stable with six members.

North Platte
Lexington
McCook
Scottsbluff
Hastings
Columbus

Could the Central 10 try and add Hastings High and Columbus? That would put them at 11 members though.

Lexington and McCook to Southwest (McCook is already there). Lexington was there once and was voted out....they aren't the same Lexington they once were. Let them back in.

Hastings and Columbus to the Central 10.

Finding a conference for Scottsbluff and North Platte is like finding a district in football for Valentine. No matter where they go they are going to have a jaunt. Scottsbluff might be better off joining a conference in Wyoming. North Platte is too big for the Southwest Conference as long as Valentine and Ainsworth are there. North Platte might be the fish out of water.

Scottsbluff has dual-conference affiliation. Besides the GNAC they are also members of the Western Conference which includes Alliance, Chadron, Gering, Mitchell and Sidney.
