According to the article the guy has had 3 jobs in like 12 years....1 as an assistant and 2 as a head coach....
Coach Means is retiring after 18 years at Millard South

Good luck to whoever takes that job. Seems to be a pretty tough place now culturally when it comes to football.
Tough job for sure. They must feel good about their numbers as they declared 8 man again. There were several winnable games on their schedule last cycle. In all honesty they probably had a chance to be a .500 team with some better numbers. D1 out west will be tough with DCS, Sutherland and Bridgeport tho.

I actually ran into Haarberg and asked him about this post. He looked at me like I was nuts the job would be open. Harvey is a great coach.
I’m sorry! 😭😅. I do think he’s a good coach and man from what I’ve been around him. Would it be out of the question for a class A school to reach out? Does that happen, or do they just go with who applies for the job?

Not uncommon at all. I think the rumors with Coach Harvey were actually based on him being a college OC at little school in Lincoln, NE. He was in Lincoln for an event for one of his daughters and happened to stop by practice to see Masker and Haarberg. This was close to the time the offensive staff was let go. Nothing more than a coincidence, but enough to start a rumor.
Heard he was fired, or asked to step down, yesterday from someone who would know.
