This is a terrific hire.Sidney promoted assistant coach Ryan Smith. Used to be the head coach at Hershey a few years ago.
Agreed. Hershey ran him out of town. This is a terrific hire.
Any news out of Pleasanton?Pleasanton is advertising for Head Football Coach.
They have a couple of jobs listed. I would assume they are going to try and fill football with those.Any news out of Pleasanton?
Could cause a few dominos. That job will be sought after.

He’s a great coach. I’d like to see him in the 11 man ranks.Keep your eye out for Hayden Delano from Cross Co. to possibly land one of the bigger openings in the state...or beyond. With the level of respect he's garnered from across Nebraska he could quite possibly end up leading a big time program or even make the jump to a college staff, that's how good he is!
Trimble retire or move on?Looks like Harvard is now open.
He took the principal job at Med ValleyTrimble retire or move on?
Would he take the head coaching job there or be an assistant to Coach Johnson? He took the principal job at Med Valley
Good for him! Good guy!He took the principal job at Med Valley
I can't think Johnson is going anywhere. Been there a long time and had a lot of success. Trimble is a 6 man guy through and through. It would be interesting to see him coaching 8 man though. He's a hell of a coach.Would he take the head coaching job there or be an assistant to Coach Johnson?
Word out west of Kearney is that Bill McAllister might be a possibility.Anyone hearing anything on the Schuyler job?
Pretty sure he’s still the wrestling coach, it seemed like he was like reassigned on the staff in week 3 or 4. Weird deal.what happened at west point, the guy wasn't even there a year was he?
That's what rufuller said about it earlier in the thread. From what I heard let go of his football duties but still teaching and coaching wrestling.
Sounds like the WPB job is still open. Not much for teaching to go with head football. It being the West Point job...sorry
