If my classification projections are correct it means there will be 42 teams in C1. The NSAA has said they will place teams in districts of 5 or 6 teams. Obviously with 42 teams it would be possible to do 7 districts of 6 teams each. It would also be possible to do 8 districts (six 5 team districts and two 6 team districts). Here are a few "shots" at districts.
Seven districts of 6 teams each
Chadron, Mitchell, Sidney, Ogallala, Valentine, Chase County
Broken Bow, Gothenburg, Cozad, Holdrege, Kearney Catholic, Minden
Ord, O'Neill, Pierce, Boone Central/Newman Grove, Columbus Scotus, Lakeview
Central City, Aurora, Adams Central, Fillmore Central, Fairbury, Milford
Wayne, West Point-Beemer, Logan View-Scribner Snyder, Arlington, Wahoo, Bishop Neumann
Ft Calhound, DC West, Boys Town, Omaha Concordia, Platteview, Ashland-Greenwood
Raymond Central, Lincoln Christian, Lincoln Lutheran, Nebraska City, Falls City, Auburn
Six districts of 5 teams and 2 districts of 6 teams
Chadron, Mitchell, Sidney, Ogallala, Chase County
Valentine, O'Neill, Boone Central/Newman Grove, Ord, Broken Bow
Gothenburg, Cozad, Kearney Catholic, Minden, Holdrege, Adams Central
Central City, Aurora, Milford, Fillmore Central, Fairbury
Columbus Scotus, Columbus Lakeview, Pierce, Wayne, West Point-Beemer, Logan View-SS
Arlington, Ft Calhoun, DC West, Omaha Concordia, Boys Town
Wahoo, Bishop Neumann, Platteview, Ashland-Greenwood, Raymond Central
Lincoln Lutheran, Lincoln Christian, Nebraska City, Auburn, Falls City
Valentine really causes a problem in terms of placing them in a district. Valentine to Sidney is 253 miles. Valentine to Imperial (Chase County) is 229 miles. Valentine to Boone Central is 184 miles. If Valentine gets sent west they will have long trips to Imperial, Sidney, and Ogallala. If they have a "northern" district they will still have long trips to Boone Central and wherever they get sent for non-district (likely Gothenburg, Cozad, Chadron, etc.
